Soccer Saturday!

Beautiful day here at Cherry Island in Antelope, CA! Thanks to my quick reactions... I was able to grab my camera and snap a pic! Not too shabby!
I haven't knitted in awhile. I am making a knitted cowl to add to my Etsy shop so I brought out the big needles! Makes knitting go quicker!
Having a little snack and my parent's house before the next game. My favorite type of lunch! Yum!
Bright and cheery crochet garland. Add's color to any room.  Something new in my Etsy shop! More picks coming later... my parents are taking Courtney and I to Apple Farm. I hear there are crafts..... woo hoo!!!

Relaxing Saturday!

Enjoying my morning with a cup of coffee in the backyard. I think I will do this every morning! It's nice to finally have a nice large backyard again. A lot of good things about this neighborhood but the best thing...it's quiet. The kids are happy we have a pool again. It's really hard to live in this area with no pool.
So I'm blogging on my iPad... Oh and I love my new iPad case with my initial on it! It's from Initials Inc! I'm excited to start this new business because its pretty new to California. And, personalization is free and it's really good personalization. Very good quality bags, nice fabric selections, and really great styles. I am looking to build this business in my area and on the coast. Check out the catalog online here: http://www.myinitials-inc.com/getmorebags . If you'd like to host a party, we can do it in your home, online or a catalog party. You can also shop my Online Grand Opening. Just go to my website and click my Events tab to get to my Online party. I need party bookings! If you'd like to host one... Lets get you scheduled!
So I will have a garden this year. I've always wanted a garden.
We have two orange trees... Valencia and some other type of orange. I picked a Valencia orange the other day and it was delicious!
I like roses...
My relaxing spot.
Some fun lights...
The raft will be calling my name later. I hope my bathing suit fits!
I went bargain hunting and found these red and white stools for $10 each. What a deal!
I guess this is where my machines are going to be for now. In my room. I'm setting up my sewing area today.  I wish I had a sewing/craft room!
I  have lots of baseball flip flops to make today! These are available in my Etsy shop here http://www.dishandstitch.etsy.com . Football flip flops being created today too! I guess I better get up and start doing something!

Have a great day everyone!

It's Monday and it's 2012...

So I have been up since 6:30 am thinking about the new year.

I've decided that I need to start designing a few more items for my Etsy shop. After the holiday rush, mailing out 36 caps with beards... I think It's time to get busy again. Yes, my fingers were about to fall off but I survived. My goal for this week is 4 new designs. Yes I will do it... I need to keep on track.

Christmas stuff needs to be put away today. No exceptions. For some reason the tree we picked out this this year was so dry. Why? I love to keep the tree lit through new years but couldn't this year to prevent a house fire. This is the kids last day of holiday break so they can help me put it all away.

My new Erin Condren planner is ready to go, filled with soccer and baseall games for the upcoming spring season. Well, soccer is happening now. Can't wait for Wednesday's soccer game. It's been two weeks of break and I need a game! Good luck Courtney and Buchanan against Clovis North this week. Kind of hoping Courtney will think about trying out for softball after soccer but I don't think that's a go. Oh well.

Oh yeah, if you don't have a planner for 2012, stop on over to http://www.erincondren.com and order yourself one. Seriously, I can say I have finally found the perfect planner. You really don't want to know how many planners I have purchased over the years. None of them have worked out. So, get yourself one. What's so special you ask... How about personalization or you pick the cover. I say no more. You just get over there and get yourself one. They are in Cali down south so you'll get it quick!

Pinterest. Have you heard of it? If not get yourself over there at http://www.pinterest.com . I made a couple of yummy foods for New Years Eve and all of the recipes and ideas came from Pinterest. The amazing photos and links people post are awesome. Once you request to joiin, which is free by the way, you will get an email saying you are accepted in about two days. You must do this now. Seriously.

Family. This year I will take photos all of the time when I am around family and sporting events. I want to make sure we capture the moments, soccer goals, home runs, grand kids, etc. I don't want to miss anything. My kids have grown up so fast, I just wonder where the time has gone. Nw my grand kids are growing and becoming cute little people. Since my son Ryan lives about 2 hours away in my hometown, it's kind of hard to spend time with his two kids. This year I hope to get over there to see them more often, my other son Steven is in law school at Santa Clara law so pi need to take some trips to San Jose to visit with him. He was at University of Arizona for four years so we didn't see much of him. Gina, my oldest daughter. She is in Salinas really needs to move back to our area. I really do miss her. Trisha, l
Dom, Courtney and Chase are here in Clovis so I can bug them anytime I want! Ha! Life is too short so spending time with family is important!

Organization... I need to get my bedroom, office and garage in order. We just need a bigger place!

Well, ready to tackle the New Year. I think it's time to start the day off right! Thinking some exercise!

Happy New Years everyone... Make it a great year!
