At work! It's TGIF!

TGIF! Woot Woot! I am so excited to say that I'm really excited to be home this weekend... no travel baseball and no travel soccer this weekend! Coffee on the patio tomorrow morning!
So this morning, I am here at work... at Monster City Studios in Fresno, CA. Busy checking my email and prioritizing what must be accomplished today by 4:30pm.
Monster City Studios is a unique place to work. We have very talented artists that create on a daily basis. What is Monster City Studios? We do theming. Customers call us to create a display or a scene at their place of business. Amusement parks, Zoo's, events, and more. So let me show you some of the creative stuff that goes on around here.
This is a hand sculpted creation that James Powell made here at Monster City Studios. Doesn't this little guy look real? It's molded out of clay. That's faux fern that's about 1" in length.

Here is the bottom section of the model piece. The stone looks real... amazing stuff James Powell! I will tell you that James can be a bit weird at times.... well a lot of times!
This is a pic of the front side of the clay model. As you can see, it's not very big as it is sitting on our conference table here at Monster City Studios. That is not real bamboo... James made the bamboo.
Here is a pic of the other side. As you can see, it's not completely painted. This is just a scale of something much larger to be made. Again, it's all hand sculpted.
This too is handmade by James Powell. Lots of detail.
A dog house. Yes, for someone's special dog. It's currently being repainted. If you would like one of these dog houses... you can purchase on Etsy.
James at work setting something up to be cut on the mill.
Andy. Another artist here at Monster City Studios. His drawing is amazing! This week he has been painting this California Map. Crazy how the mill will cut out detail ... look at those mountains!
Yes, the blue areas are water.
James is crazy.
Monster City Studios front office. I work with animals!

So, again, I am looking forward to the weekend. Baseball tourney here in Fresno. Maybe some pizza and beer afterwards.. I'm in! Oh and Fresno State Women's Soccer Saturday night... should be fun! I still have lots of stuff to put away since we moved almost a month ago. Gosh, moving is so tiring!

Make it a great weekend!

How would you use this?

So this is my NEW bin from Thirty-One! It's a new item in our Spring catalog. We received this FREE last week for attending Thirty-One's Spring Product Premiere! I love getting free STUFF...what an awesome company. I have been thinking of ways to use this item. Right now it sits in my family room with my iPad, my Erincondren planner, and my current project I am designing for my Etsy Shop.

It stands up, doesn't slouch over, nice fabrics to choose from, easy to tote from room to room, and folds flat when not in use. But I have to say, it's been in use since last Saturday night! This is an awesome business for women... check out my website and click the JOIN MY TEAM link to join me! I would love to have you on my team!

So I would love to know how you would use this bag?

Happy Friday the 13th!

Something I Love...

Happy Thursday everyone! I am getting excited today... I am leaving tomorrow to Tastefully Simple on Tour in Garden Grove, CA. It will be nice to get away with my upline and fellow consultants. I can't wait to taste the New Spring/Summer line products from the New catalog! That's right... the New Tastefully Simple Catalog is out in a few weeks! I was busy working my calendar this morning to make room for taste-testing parties. I love these parties, seeing the expressions of the guests as they try each item! Everyone loves everything! Kind of bummed that I will miss my daughters FCC Softball doubleheader on Saturday. I seriously thought of not going down south but there will be more games! I am just game crazy!  My son in Tucson, AZ texted me this morning to tell me that he is making Tastefully Simple Bountiful Beer Bread. So yummy and easy!

Spring is the busiest time for us in our house. Last night I was busy designing a new Crochet Headband Earwarmer. The sun is out shining and the weather has been warming up so I thought i'd make more designs of these that have a lace look. Here's what I came up with. I will be putting together after I get home later from taking my daughter to her dentist appointment. The part I dislike... weaving in the strands later. Why didn't I just do that last night.

Have a Happy Thursday everyone! Tomorrow I will be featuring different items from Etsy shops. If you are interested in having your items featured, please let me know on your comment.
