Monday Blues...

Happy Monday! It's really not for me... I am kind of freaked out today! We went to a friends house yesterday for a Superbowl party. My car was outside right in front of their house. Well, someone broke into my car and took a see through empty cupcake holder, and a Trader Joe's canvas tote. The tote had a new bag of Tostito's, mail with my address on it, my keys (house, both of our cars, mail), a plate and a bowl. My friend gave me the plate and bowl because it was from a previous party. I asked my son to go put the tote in the car. I hung my keys on the tote so he could unlock and lock the car door. Well, he used the keypad instead. The tote was locked in the car. As I was fishing around in my purse last night as we were leaving the party, I asked my son where he put my keys. He didn't realize they were in the tote. We then figured out that someone broke in the car. They also broke in my friends Suburban which was parked inside her garage. The garage door was open. There was about 9 junior and seniors boys at the party who were playing basketball during the 3rd quarter of the game outside. I cannot figure out why someone would take the cupcake holder? I drove around this morning in their area to see if the cupcake holder or tote bag was thrown in the bushes. Nope... nothing.

We changed our house locks last night but the thieves too my keys. Scary thinking that they might come steal our cars. I feel invaded... No knitting today because I now have to clean out my garage so I can park my car in it. I am feeling very uneasy today.

I did design a headband Friday night...

Well, don't be like me and leave anything in your car! I normally don't leave purses, keys, or anything in car... yesterday was juke a fluke. Weird.
