Superbowl Foods? What are you making?

I am trying to get ready for Superbowl... getting my menu together. We are attending a friends party and I am taking a couple of things to share. Just can't make up my mind what to make! I am thinking; cupcakes, frosted cut-out cookies (helmets and footballs), Dried Tomato and Pesto Pinwheels...and I don't know what else! Help... do you have any suggestions? Please comment below so I have more ideas! I would appreciate it!
Knitted Slouch Beanie
I made this slouch beanie a few weeks ago... I think it needs a knitted bow... any suggestions? I feel it's missing something.

Cowboy Calzone
*The Pioneer Woman Cooks... Isn't it nice when you find a cookbook that you really love. My new favorite cookbook is The Pioneer Woman Cooks. I have made a few recipes so far from this book. Love it! I first heard of this cookbook from my friend Tanjia. We were at a gathering at her house talking about blogs. She mentioned The Pioneer Woman blog and then pulled out the cookbook. That was a year ago. Well, I finally purchased the book at Barnes and Noble. The book has The Pioneer Woman story, photos of her daily like, family, and of course recipes. Step by step recipes. Everyone should have this cookbook! Above you see my Cowboy Calzones. They don't look that great but they are so tasty! And the homemade pizza dough recipe in the book is so easy to make. Check out this cookbook, it's well worth it! And, The Pioneer Woman is on the Today show this morning! Yay!Oh how I miss the sun! It's been foggy and ugly for weeks now. I am excited to say the sun it out today! I am thinking Valentine inspired items to share that I've made and then a yummy recipe that I made. Here is a Sweet Valentine Slouch Beanie that I made. I am thinking of adding a knitted bow... what do you think?
*Superbowl... who do you think is going to win? Vote on my poll in the right column.

*Superbowl Foods... what kind of delicious treats are you making for the big party day? I decided on some cupcakes, maybe frosted cut-out cookies, Tastefully Simple cheesy chive dip and Bountiful Beer Bread, and I don't know what else. We are going to a party at the Luplow house which should be a lot of fun! I need some ideas for finger foods... all of your suggestions will be great!
*Crafty Project of the Day... I think I need to start my knitted Hot Water Bottle Cozy. I have been talking about this all week... well today is the day to get it started! I want to be able to use it this week! Funny, I like to get it started and finish immediately. I hate to wait! What are you making?
*Friends... I found out last night that one of our friends is in the ICU at Clovis Community Hospital. We are praying for Dean and his family. Softball season is starting next week and he needs to be there coaching his team! Two of my kids have a cold and I have been telling them to stay warm and to take medicine so it doesn't get worse. Hearing that Dean has pneumonia made me reinforce to my kids how a cold can turn for the worse. We all need to take care of yourself so if you are sick... sleep, medicine up and get better!
